The article addresses the public space development framework for Za’atari Refugee Camp in Jordan and the realized community park in Sarhan, a village close to the Syrian border in Jordan that hosts many refugees.
The work for Za’atari Refugee Camp was carried out with a team of the Municipality of Amsterdam and VNG International
The work in Sarhan was carried our as part of the greening of public space through labour intensive measures program by GIZ and implemented by VNG International.
